It is with immense pleasure and honor that(I), on behalf of the Mauritanian Armed Forces, welcome you to the 7th Pan-Arab Congress and 7th Maghreb Congress of Military Medicine, organized from December (The) 1st to 4th (of) 2025, under the high patronage of His Excellency, Mr. Mohamed Cheikh El Ghazwani, President of the Republic, supreme Commander of the National Armed Forces, and under the aegis of the International Committee of Military Medicine in Nouakchott. We are very delighted to host this prestigious event and bring together experts and professionals from across the Arab world and the Maghreb Region.
This congress is a vital platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences, and fostering collaboration in the crucial field of military medicine. Your presence here as well highlights the importance of advancing healthcare for the members of our armed and security forces) as underscores your (concern about to enhancing the collective health and well-being of our communities.
Therefore, I am highly honored to invite all delegates from involved countries from Pan-Arab and Maghreb regional groups of military Medicine to reflect and share experiences regarding military Medicine as of 2025: The realities and the challenges we are called upon to overcome. The high level scientific event, which will be led by notable personalities – physicians, pharmacists, dental surgeons, veterinarians; scientists, intellectuals, and administrators- will take place through a lens focused on universal security threats that spare no continent, emerging diseases in our perpetually changing environment, and new technologies that are becoming integral parts of our practice with all the advantages they provide but also the potential risks to which we should be prepared.
Certainly, four days of reflection are a short time, but we must seize and optimize this valuable opportunity to our greatest extent to insure this event makes for a productive space for exchanging knowledge and medical approaches in our daily practices.
Finally, I take this opportunity to wish you all a pleasant stay in our country and hope for broad participation from members of your respective health services for the optimal success for our countries.
